A personalized children's storybook: a 24-page story with 19 original illustrations, created from the photos, names, and choices you submit, in which your child or children are the heroes. Today's edition stars one or two children with their dad along for the adventure; we may offer other family editions over time, and what's available is always shown at order time. Illustrations are crafted with AI assistance in Kindlevale's signature style; every story and every page is reviewed and edited by a person before printing. The illustrated heroes resemble your photos as far as the storybook style allows — a stylized likeness, not a photograph. Two formats: printed hardcover with the digital PDF included, or digital PDF only. For children ages 4–10.
If we can't ship on time, you decide. We ship within the time stated at checkout, or within 30 days of your order if no time was stated. If we can't, we'll email you before that deadline with a revised date, and you can either accept it or cancel for a full refund — your money back to the original payment method, not store credit. If we don't hear from you, we treat silence as a cancellation and refund you. This is your right under the Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, and we follow it as written. If we have to ask you for a replacement photo before we can start, the days we spend waiting for it don't count against that clock — but our own delays always do.
By uploading photos you confirm that you took them or otherwise have the right to use them, that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child shown, and that you consent to the processing described in the Privacy Policy. Please don't upload photos of people whose consent you don't have, or any unlawful content — we may decline such orders (with a full refund).
Your printed book is yours. For the artwork and text, we grant you a perpetual, personal, non-commercial license: print it, copy it for your family, gift it, share photos of it. Because parts of the illustrations are AI-assisted, the copyright position of such artwork is legally unsettled — which is why we grant you this broad personal license rather than promising a copyright transfer we might not be able to make. We do not reuse your book or your family's likenesses for anything, including our own marketing, without your separate, explicit permission.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be limited by contract. Beyond that, our total liability for an order is capped at the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the place where you live, and nothing here takes those away. We'd genuinely rather fix a problem than argue about venues — email us first.
